So I don't know how to say this.

I don't think I had watched a single wrestling event since I was in high school, and fell off during the post-invasion era WWF probably around 04/05.

A friend of mine was really hyped up about AEW and the fact that CM Punk was coming back (who I knew more from his laughable UFC run and people referencing him on this board) and finally convinced me to watch with All Out. It was a pretty fun show (the women's matches were awful, and I don't know what the fuck that cage match with the young bucks and lucha brothers was), but I actuall started watching the weekly shows, and let me tell you, that Daniel Bryan and Kenny Omega match may have ignited something within me. AEW feels like proper Attitude Era wrestling and it is great.

Other notes:

• Holy shit, how is sting still able to wrestle, he has to be in his 60s?
• Can't believe Christian is still wrestling and he looked great at All Out
• Chris Jericho is gross and fat looking, yikes
• Has JR not aged a day since the 90s?
• Also cannot believe Goldust/Dustin Rhodes is still wrestling

So ya, ask me anything I guess, I probably have a very different perspective as a very lapsed fan

Not to judge off of one video, but I enjoyed this Voidburger video more than anything Ben or Abby ever put out.

This bar is so low it's basically underground. Voidburger is just another in a long line of nazally voiced "omg so quirky youtube influencers" that brings absolutely nothing of value to the table.

Ya, but it's a good habit to get into to be cycling through defensive cooldowns on dungeon bosses, especially if you have any intention on doing end-game content as a tank.

Other than that it's just making sure to use your defensive cooldowns for tankbusters or big damage attacks to give your healers a break

Tank is the one type of job I havent leveled yet. Im interested, but things like being expected to have all the dungeons memorized because youre basically the leader AND needing to know all the bosses attacks so you know which are tabkbusters or not its a lot!

You're overestimating the amount of mechanics you have to be mindful of. 90% of the time tanks don't have to do anything besides spam their combo with the occasional AOE to grab adds.

I've been saying for a while that I honestly think most of the people who are unvaccinated in places where there is sufficient supply are more LAZY than anti-vaxx. A lot more people just couldn't be bothered to do something they don't see as benefiting them. That's why having requirements for proof of vaccine to do things is such an effective way to get people to book appointments. You tell these people that suddenly their lives are negatively impacted in a tangible way by not having the vaccine, and they will immediately change their minds.

This is why I fully support governments providing proper proof of vaccine, and having that as a requirement to do things like eat in a restaurant, or go to a concert/sport event, or for travel. Do this, and the only people that will stay unvaccinated are that ~5-10% of the population that are just irredeemably stupid

Because legally, in China, Taiwan is part of the greater country. There's a discord for Aether DC too. They don't do as many scheduled runs as they used to, but the last few weeks there's been an organized run every 1 or 2 days. I'm 2 runs away from getting my healer gear fully elemental +2 and the final relic buff

No, but besides ordering take out and doing groceries, we haven't been frequenting too many businesses. Couple that with the Canadian government apparantly thinking that proper proof of vaccine isn't necessary and I doubt we will see that here. I do wish they would issue a proper vaccine slip, rather than the cheap receipt paper they gave us initially, that paper isn't going to survive long once I start travelling again.

Finally hit Rank 25 in Zadnor, trying to decide if I wanna finish Dal today to complete the questline, or wait until I'm done farming the 180 drops in the 3 zones so I can get the final relic drop for that run and technically be one run more efficient.

Getting to the top of Kugane is dead easy and can be done within 20 minutes of grinding.

Actually landing on the damn lampost for the sightseeing log is the real challenge. Ended up just cheesing it when some healer was already standing on it, and offering to rez people that use BLU self-destruct so they would rez on top of the lamp post.

I thought a lot of the bonus stuff from later versions of the early FF games was neat, but nothing worth going out of the way for, honestly. I think these pixel remasters will be fine.

The bonus stuff in FF4 was really cool because you could use other party members in the end game. It just makes no sense to cut this content in what they're trying to market as the definitive versions of these games, unless they're planning to do another release in a couple of years, or some paid DLC

I mean, if we're going to say who "won" the Olympics, it shouldn't be simply who has the best swim team. If the Olympics is 40% swimming medals and 60% other sports, that's a little unfair. I do find it a little funny that some swimmer can swim two lengths of a pool in under a minute, wait half a day for the next swim-two-lengths race and have another crack at it, while some people play in a tournament that spans literally the entire length of the Olympics just for a single chance at a medal...which could be hijacked by a single mistake by a teammate.

Precisely. Swimming should be cut down to freestyle at 4 or so different lengths, like track running is.

I guess so many people are just used to the circus of people pretending to have an imaginary "disorder" and companies pandering to those people by pretending they care so much about an arbitrary topic, so that fans of that company can pretend to be so impressed with how "thoughtful" they are.

Also the new icon look way less cool and way more like a stupid Kirby want or something, so yes it is objectively worse. It just amazes me the complete lack of critical thinking involved here, and the willingness to just full stop believe any random shit people see on the internet that suits their world view. I don't see how someone can identify "gender pay gaps" without accounting for all the factors that result in the "gaps" to begin with. On the surface women make less money on average, but that doesn't account for women that take extended leave for maternity leave, which as I understand it is the main reason that the gap exists.

Tanking dungeons is dead easy, even at higher levels. Just open with your AOE attack on a new mob, and then use your 1-2-3 combo on the mob the party is focusing on to keep hate. Even most of the normal mode primal fights don't have too many mechanics.

Also, if the details of the suicide case actually had any weight to them, you think they would have put those details in the deposition rather than making an extremely short and vague statement there. That is essentially proof that there was more to that tragic situation than what is being said, and those details would have detracted from the case they are trying to present. The smart money is on some sort of relationship breakdown, maybe infidelity, in conjunction with the woman having poor mental health to begin with.

You also have no context for what the details of their relationship were. Perhaps they were dating before they worked together, or started dating before the one got promoted. If this was an actual case of abuse, it would have made the news cycles when it happened, rather than being a throwaway point in a legal document years later.

To be fair we have literally no context for that that story besides she committed suicide and was in a sexual relationship with a coworker. The truth could range from some fucked up abuse to her having mental issues and getting dumped sent her over the line.
